The Family & Consumer Science program improves the quality of life for individuals and families within the global community through education and hands on experiences. Focus areas include family interaction, financial and resource management, family, work and community responsibility, food science, and nutrition, and child development.

Ms. Dawn Eby, Subject Area Supervisor
Dawn Eby has more than 20 years of experience in mathematics education, working as both a teacher and instructional coach, and was named the Family & Consumer Science Supervisor prior to the 2020-21 school year. She earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Messiah College, a master's degree in mathematics from Villanova University and a supervisory certificate in curriculum and instruction from Millersville University. Her teaching experience includes both middle and high school levels, from sixth grade math through AP calculus.
