Plant the Seed of Learning
Conestoga Valley School District partners with neighboring districts to offer Plant the Seed of Learning, a program that supports the foundation of learning for young children. By age three, 85 percent of a child’s core brain structure is formed, driving the need to support children from birth. Plant the Seed of Learning is an early childhood education initiative that supports the foundation of learning for children ages birth to two.
CV also offers Grow the Seed of Learning for children ages 2-4. This early childhood education takes the initiatives of Plant the Seed of Learning and Grow the Seed of Learning to support an educational and developmental foundation for the youngest of learners.
Short classes held in the evenings throughout the school year offer helpful tips on early childhood education in a playful environment. Local medical professionals, Popovsky Performing Arts and local school district staff will present classes. All class times are 6-7 p.m. for babies and children from birth through age 2.All classes are FREE! Advanced registration is required.
