- Attended University of Pennsylvania – four-year starter and letter winner and two-year co-captain in basketball; All-Ivy League All-Star and All-Ivy League Academics Honors
- Became only the 2nd player in Ivy League history (man or woman) to record more then 1,200 points, 600 rebounds and 250 assists (final statistics: 1,293 points, 604 rebounds and 294 assists)

- Signed pro football contract with the New York Stars of the World Football League in 1974
- Participated for two seasons with the New York Stars and Charlotte Hornets leading the team in tackles in 1975
