At the May 11 meeting, Mr. Scott Kramer, RBC Capital, attended the meeting to give the School Board an update on the finances for the new middle school project. Following Mr. Kramer’s presentation and further discussion, the School Board recommended the District moves forward with the site work and take up to 90 days to monitor economic factors to determine when to proceed beyond the site work. At the May 18 meeting, Mrs. Heverly Flesher presented an update to the discussion form the prior week. The Board affirmed the decision to move forward with the site work and take up to 90 days to monitor the economic factors to determine when to proceed beyond the site work. Additionally, Mr. Fred Kendall attended the meeting to update the School Board on the progress at Brownstown Elementary School. A report was attached to the agenda for review.
