SEE YOU IN 2022!

Your Buckskin Blast newsletter is on a holiday break until Thursday, Jan. 6. A reminder - next Thursday, Dec. 23 is an early dismissal across the district and there is no school from Dec. 24 - Jan. 2. Have a wonderful holiday break!

We were optimistic the COVID News Update Center would be a thing of the past by the time this school year started. Unfortunately, there is still a need to maintain and update the News Update Center for the foreseeable future.

The Update Center was created in the spring of 2020 when the virus first affected our area. Our COVID dashboard will again be updated each school day in the late afternoon or evening.

In addition, the Update Center has a plethora of resources and information, including letters from Dr. Zuilkoski, learning resources, and more.

CV's boys and girls basketball teams are both collecting items for the homeless to help them through the winter season.

The boys basketball team is collecting new/slightly worn hoodies (of all sizes!) to be distributed to the homeless over the holiday season and the girls basketball team is collecting new socks for the homeless. Please come and donate hoodies and socks at the teams' games!

Conestoga Valley's online bulletin board is designed to assist community nonprofit groups in the CV area to communicate important information in an environmentally-friendly and cost-effective way. Throughout the school year, we'll highlight new announcements, registration information, and more in this newsletter.

CVHS has an internship program! Juniors or seniors are eligible to apply for an internship where they will spend time onsite with flexible hours. Some of our students intern five days a week, others for three days. Our internship program is incredibly business friendly; we want to build relationships that benefit all parties!

And a big thank you to a few of our current partners, including Universal Athletic Club, Calvary Church, and the Barnstormers!

The Internship Program is always looking to add to its list of partners. Interested in the opportunity to partner with CVHS and provide an internship for students? Click here to fill out the interest form.

And coming in 2022…you’ll get to hear directly from our students who are currently interning!

The CVHS girls soccer team is selling tickets for their Designer Purse Bingo event! The fundraiser will take place on Jan. 21, 2022, at the CVHS cafeteria. Tickets are $25 and must be pre-purchased by contacting any girls soccer player or email

Doors will open at 5:15 p.m. for dinner with 25 rounds of bingo starting promptly at 6:30 p.m.!
