PHOTO OF THE WEEK

On Friday, Oct. 22, Mr. Maisano's Technology I students took a trip to Lancaster Airport to put the theories learned in class into practical application. The students visited both the Sport Flying USA Services and Lancaster Balloonport Inc. locations within the airport.

COVID-19 UPDATE CENTER

We were optimistic the COVID News Update Center would be a thing of the past by the time this school year started. Unfortunately, there is still a need to maintain and update the News Update Center for the foreseeable future.

The Update Center was created in the spring of 2020 when the virus first affected our area. Our COVID dashboard will again be updated each school day in the late afternoon or evening.

In addition, the Update Center has a plethora of resources and information, including letters from Dr. Zuilkoski, learning resources, and more.

JUST A FEW DAYS LEFT!

For the third year in a row, Middle School Principal Denis Quirk is taking part in the "Real Men Wear Pink" campaign in honor of breast cancer awareness month.

This year, Quirk has set a goal to raise $2,500. Like last year, Quirk has added incentives to his middle school students by promising several fun events when he reaches certain benchmarks (and he's already surpassed the first two!):

  • $1,000 = Quirk will dye his hair pink
  • $3,000 = “Pelt the Principal.” Every middle school student will be supplied hot pink color run powder, Quirk will dress in all white and then line the students up as he runs through and gets pelted with pink!
  • More than $7,129 = A BIG incentive that’s hush-hush for now!

The fundraiser is open to anyone who would like to support this cause, not just members of the school district. Donate by clicking the button below!

GET EXCITED!

The annual Craft Show is back this year! The Craft Show will be held on Saturday, Nov. 13, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. in Rill Gymnasium at CVHS. All questions can be directed here.

IN MEMORY OF...

Mr. Pritchard, a teacher and assistant principal in the Conestoga Valley School District, passed away unexpectedly in 2015 and the scholarship was established in his honor.
