ANNUAL HOMECOMING BONFIRE IS BACK!

For the first time since the fall of 2019, the annual Homecoming Bonfire is back! This year's bonfire will take place on Wednesday, October 13 from 6-9:30 p.m. at the JV baseball field at CVHS.

The entire CV community is invited to a night of food, music, games, fireworks, and more!

Any group or organization interested in setting up a table that evening should contact Rachel Metzinger.

PHOTO OF THE WEEK

All together now....AWWW! This is Cocoa, CVHS's facility dog in training. Cocoa is only 13 weeks but we can already tell she's a very smart pup! Her handlers will do extensive training with her over the next 18+ months so that she can become a certified Facility Dog at the high school.

GET READY!

The annual Craft Show is also back this year! The Craft Show will be held on Saturday, Nov. 13, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. in Rill Gymnasium at CVHS.

COVID-19 UPDATE CENTER

We were optimistic the COVID News Update Center would be a thing of the past by the time this school year started. Unfortunately, there is still a need to maintain and update the News Update Center for the foreseeable future.

The Update Center was created in the spring of 2020 when the virus first affected our area. Our COVID dashboard will again be updated each school day in the late afternoon or evening.

In addition, the Update Center has a plethora of resources and information, including letters from Dr. Zuilkoski, learning resources, and more.

ONE WEEK FROM TODAY (VIRTUALLY!)

CVHS's Parents Night is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 30! It has, however, been moved to a virtual format (via Zoom). A Zoom schedule will be posted the week of Sept. 20 and more information will be made available on the CVHS homepage.

COMMUNITY BULLETIN BOARD

Conestoga Valley's online bulletin board is designed to assist community nonprofit groups in the CV area to communicate important information in an environmentally-friendly and cost-effective way. Throughout the school year, we'll highlight new announcements in the Buckskin Blast.
