The Conestoga Valley football team is partnering with the Cocalico football team to raise funds for M.A.D.D. in honor of the Flinton family whose sons both play for Cocalico; their mother was severely injured by a drunk driver in 2019.

The teams are selling t-shirts (long and short-sleeved). Orders are due no later than Sept. 8. Order forms and payment should be given to any football booster board member or CV's head coach Gerad Novak. Click here to access the order form.

CVVA's Learning Center opened its doors to students this week for the first time since March of 2020! The Learning Center is located in Fritz Elementary.

The 23rd annual Conestoga Valley's Education Foundation (CVEF) Golf Classic is slated for tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 10 at Meadia Heights Golf Club. The event includes a scramble format, raffle, silent auction, awards, cocktails, and dinner reception. Click here for more information.

We were optimistic the COVID News Update Center would be a thing of the past by the time this school year started. While the News Update Center will still be active this year, we hope for less activity on it - and we really hope it goes away completely at some point this year!

The Update Center was created in the spring of 2020 when the virus first affected our area. Our COVID dashboard will again be updated each school day in the late afternoon or evening.

In addition, the Update Center has a plethora of resources and information, including letters from Dr. Zuilkoski, learning resources, and more.

Conestoga Valley High's School (Virtual) FAFSA Financial aid night is being held TONIGHT beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The night is geared toward senior parents, although anyone can attend.

The Zoom link to access the session can be found here.

CVHS's Parents Night is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 30! Parents will have a chance to tour facilities and classrooms and there will also be a number of information tables and refreshments available in the main lobby. In addition, the library will feature hard copies and online research tools, information on digital citizenship, and assistance with Schoology and the Community Portal.

Click here for more information, including a scheduling for the evening.

Conestoga Valley's online bulletin board is designed to assist community nonprofit groups in the CV area to communicate important information in an environmentally-friendly and cost-effective way. Throughout the school year, we'll highlight new announcements in the Buckskin Blast.

Throughout the school year, Dr. Zuilkoski blogs weekly about issues affecting CV, the world of education and other topics relevant to our students, staff, and CV Community.

We'd hoped to have Dr. Z's first blog of the school year for you today, but as you can imagine, this week got a little hectic! He'll pen his first blog of the school year next week!

At CV's Sept. 10 home football game vs. Lampeter-Strasburg, get ready for a white out to help end hunger. Conestoga Valley Christian Community Services (CVCCS) is asking all fans to wear white and bring a non-perishable donation to help White Out hunger in our communities as we look ahead to the holiday season (and beyond!). Fans who bring a non-perishable item will receive $2 off admission AND the first 150 fans will receive a free promotional item from CVCCS.

Click here for a list of suggested items CVCCS is hoping to collect.
