Soak It Up

Sept. 22, 2022

Explore California

Over 30 years ago, CV took an awesome and early leap into character education. An important hallmark of that leap was the selection and definition of monthly character traits. These traits have been embraced by our schools and community for decades. In 2021, CV embarked on utilizing an exciting new K-12 social-emotional curriculum titled Character Strong. We are excited to announce that our CV monthly character traits are now aligned with Character Strong!

Please visit the updated Character Strong webpage on our district site for more information!

The Conestoga Valley School District has been awarded $4,887.42 from the 2022 Feeding School Kids campaign, an initiative of The GIANT Company.

The funds are intended to be used to enhance, continue, or begin efforts to feed students. CV will utilize its funds to provide additional fresh fruit and produce for its students as well as help offset the increasing costs of such food items.

The Feeding School Kids initiative allows districts to support its meal programs in ways ranging from covering outstanding student meal debt, expanding food distribution programs, creating on-campus food pantries, and supplying extra meals.
