The Conestoga Valley School District has a close partnership with CVCCS which offers a variety of assistance to the community. Below is a brief overview of CVCCS's service; for more information, click the icon below!
Food & Nutrition:
Client choice food bank with a variety of non-perishables, meat, dairy, produce, & bakery to those in need who live or attend church in the CV School District and meet financial guidelines.
Clothing, Shoes, & Coats:
Client choice clothing bank serving residents of Lancaster County via referral from a church, school, or agency.
Rooted Afterschool Mentoring:
1-on-1 Christian mentoring for at-risk 4th-6th graders at Smoketown Elementary, via referral by the school and parental permission.
Weekend Blessings:
Provides students in the CV School District referred by the school with bundles of food to take home for the weekends.
Summer Lunch:
Serves three lunches a week at three locations in the CV School District from June through August. The meals are free and open to all children 18 and younger.
Back on Track Financial Coaching:
Assists those living “paycheck to paycheck” and the underemployed who don’t qualify for social services but are struggling to avoid homelessness caused by an unavoidable financial hardship.
