- Set school records in 100 meters and 200 meters, currently holds school record in pole vault

- Lancaster-Lebanon League Soccer All-Star in 1989 and 1990
- Competed in the Junior Olympic Volleyball National Championships in 1989
- Lancaster-Lebanon League Football All-Star as kicker in 1990
- Conestoga Valley Male Athlete of the Year in 1991
- New Era Male Athlete of the Year in 1991
- Attended Penn State University – Earned 3 varsity letters in track and field
- Third Place in the TAC Junior National Championships in Decathlon
