Ted Denlinger – Active 1960-2001

  • Theodore B. “Ted” Denlinger (1942-2001) was a dear friend of Conestoga Valley Athletics and his unconditional loyalty and dedication to the school district and its athletic endeavors were unmatched.

Christopher A. Erb – Class of 1983

  • Earned 10 varsity letters in the sports of basketball, football and track
  • Lancaster-Lebanon League Section II Football All-Star 1981 & 1982 (Two Positions)
  • Participated in Lancaster Sertoma All-Star Game (Starter & Co-Captain)
  • Football Co-Captain 1982 and Basketball Co-Captain 1982
  • Lancaster-Lebanon League Section I Basketball All-Star 1981 & 1982
  • District Qualifier in long jump 1982 & 1983
  • 1983 CV Outstanding Male Athlete
  • Set CV records for career points in basketball and career interceptions in football
  • Member of a 4×100 Relay team that set school record
  • Attended Gettysburg College – Basketball 3yr letterman and 2yr starter, Track 2yr letterman, Placed 6th in long jump at MAC Championships 1985

Frank “Pete” Leach – Active 1959-1993

  • CV Physical Education Teacher for 34 years
  • Assistant Wrestling Coach 1960-61, Assistant Football Coach 1962-69, JV Basketball Coach 1971-78
  • Head Volleyball Coach through 1983, Won District Three & PIAA State Volleyball Championship 1983
  • Coached National AAU Junior Olympics Championship Volleyball Team in 1981
  • Member of Wilson High School Hall of Fame
  • Beyond the Buckskins squads, Pete had time to encourage, instruct and support athletes and students wherever he went. Such was his respect in the volleyball community, that he was elected to the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2001.

  • Honorable Mention All-State Basketball Team – 1996
  • All-time assist leader and 6th all-time in career scoring for CV Girls’ Basketball
  • 1996 CV Outstanding Female Athlete
  • Lancaster Lebanon League All-Star Soccer Team – 1995 & 1996
  • Attended West Chester University – Basketball 4yr starter, 2yr captain, PSAC East All-Conference Team 98-99 99-00 00-01, 2001 PSAC Winter Top Ten Award, 2001 Verizon Academic All-American
  • 2002 Captain & All Star for York City Noise (WABA-Professional Women’s Basketball League)
