Robert F. Borden – Active 1977-2012

  • Girls Softball Head Coach (1981-1985)
  • Football Varsity Assistant Coach (1978-2005)
  • Helped coach state runner-up football team in 1990
  • Girls Basketball Junior Varsity Coach (1977-1979) and Head Coach (1980-1981)
  • Coached first girls basketball team to reach state play-offs in 1980
  • Boys Basketball Head Coach (1982-2007)
  • Had over 300 total wins, set school record with 23 wins in 1982-1983 season
  • 3 Section Titles, 1 League Title, Eastern runner-up in 1987, District III runner-up in 1983
  • Two-time Section Coach of the Year, One League Coach of the Year

Lori A. Miller – Class of 1986

  • Earned varsity letters in the sports of field hockey, basketball and softball
  • Field Hockey Tri-Captain, 1984 & 1985 Lancaster-Lebanon League All-Star, All-Star Defensive MVP
  • Voted most athletic girl by senior classmates in 1986
  • Attended University of Richmond on athletic scholarship for Lacrosse/Field Hockey
  • All-Conference player in field hockey & lacrosse, 1989-90 Who’s Who in Athletics in American Colleges & Universities, South Atlantic Conference Player of the Week, North/South Senior All-Star, Sauk Valley All-American, United States Jr. National team member, participated in Jr. World Cup in Canada, Club & JFK touring team member – played field hockey in Russia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Holland & Barbados
  • Has coached field hockey, basketball, lacrosse and track & field
  • Assistant hockey coach at Virginia Commonwealth University & Lebanon Valley College
  • Physical Education teacher in Cornwall-Lebanon School District
  • Bicycled across U.S. for American Lung Association, Climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, continually participate in soccer, volleyball, adventure sports and mud/obstacle runs.

  • Girls Gymnastics Head Coach (1976-1986), Team Record 57-15
  • Lancaster-Lebanon League Undefeated Champions 1978 & 1980, 4-times LL League second place team
  • District III Team Qualifier 6 years, District III runner-up in 1980 by only .05 points
  • Coached Two Lancaster-Lebanon League All-Around Champions
  • Coached Two PIAA State Individual Event Medalists
  • Creator and Director of CV Youth Gymnastics Program – 8 years
  • Certified PIAA Gymnastics Judge for dual, league, district and state meets (1986-1991)
  • Gymnastics Club Coach at Positive Fitness and Astra Gymnastics (1988-1993)
  • Competitive Collegiate gymnast at Clarion University (1972-1976)
  • Graduate Assistant Coach at Clarion University in 1976, National Champions of Division I AIAW

Jim Supplee – Class of 1966

  • Earned 6 varsity letters in the sports of basketball (3) and baseball (3) as a 3-year starter in each
  • 1965 All-County 1st Team Basketball and Baseball
  • 1966 Unanimous All-County selection in Basketball and Baseball
  • 1966 Conestoga Valley Male Athlete of the Year
  • 1965 and 1966 won County Title in Basketball, 1965 lost to Steelton-Highspire in AAA District     Semi-finals, 1966 lost to Reading in AAA District Finals
  • 1966 threw first no-hitter for CV against Pequea Valley with 15 strikeouts, led team with a .468 batting average and 5-1 pitching record
  • Attended the College of William and Mary – played freshman basketball and earned varsity letter as a junior, played freshman baseball and earned 2 varsity letters prior to suffering career ending elbow injury, 7-2 as a sophomore
  • Coached American Legion, Babe Ruth and Cal Ripken baseball for 10 years, Umpired for past 13 years, including assignments in the Ripken/Ruth District, State and Regional Tournaments

E. Philip Wenger – Class of 1975

  • Earned 6 varsity letters in soccer (1), basketball (2) and track (3)
  • Soccer – junior year was a member of CV’s first soccer team that played a JV schedule, senior year earned varsity letter and was named All-League Right Wing
  • Basketball – senior year Co-Captain and named best defensive player; In 2009 was named to “Top 50 in 50 Years” of CV Boys Basketball
  • Track – earned varsity letters as freshman, junior and senior ; senior year ran 440, 880, 440 relay, mile relay and two mile relay
  • Mile and Two mile relay teams set school records at that time ; Mile relay team set Lancaster-Lebanon League record at that time, finished first in Lancaster-Lebanon League meet, and third in District meet ; Two mile relay team finished second in Lancaster-Lebanon League meet, 2nd in Districts, and competed in the State meet (no placement)
