Nick Beisker – Class of 1998

  • Earned 6 varsity letters in basketball and football
  • Football – Senior year Co-Captain; 1997 2nd Team Lancaster-Lebanon League Section II DB/WR; selected to participate in War of Roses All-Star Game
  • Basketball – Senior year Co-Captain; 1996/97 & 1997/98 selected as CV Boys’ Basketball Team MVP;  1997/98 1st Team Lancaster-Lebanon League All-Star;  Pennsylvania vs. Maryland (East/West) All-Star Game Selection
  • Named to Conestoga Valley Boys’ Basketball “Top 50 in 50 Years” in 2009
  • Attended East Stoudsburg University – Earned 3 varsity letters in football; 2000 & 2002 led team in interceptions; 2002 named 1st Team PSAC and 1st Team ECAC at Defensive Back; Received ESU “Redshirt Award”; Named Verizon Academic All-American; Named PSAC Top 10 Male Student Athlete

  • 1968-1976 – Head Junior High Football Coach; Record 53-8-2 (.841 winning percentage);   Four Undefeated Seasons and Five Section Titles
  • 1970-1980 – Head Junior High Basketball Coach; Record 128-31 (.805 winning percentage);   Seven Section Titles
  • 1977-1980 – Assistant Varsity Football Coach
  • 1971-1980 – Assistant Varsity Track Coach
  • 1969-1970 – Assistant Boys’ Baseball Coach
  • 1968-1970 – Assistant Junior High Wrestling Coach
  • 35 Years Junior High/Middle School Mathematics Teacher

David T. Hornberger – Class of 1982

  • Earned 6 varsity letters in football (3), track (2) and baseball (1)
  • Football – 1980 & 1981 LL League 1st Team QB; 1981 WIOV LL League Player of the Year; 1981 Bill Frantz Award Recipient (Section II Best Back); 6-time LL League Player of the Week; 1981 Tri-Captain
  • Set 8 CV Football Records, including:  career total offense 3,847 yds.; 60% completion percentage for 1981; least interceptions in a season of 3 in 1981; most passing yards in a half of 260 yards vs. Solanco in 1981; most extra points kicked in a season of 34 in 1981; most extra points kicked in a game of 7 vs. Ephrata in 1981
  • Track – 1982 placed 2nd in LL League Shot and Discus; District Qualifier in shot and discus
  • Attended Juniata College – Earned 7 varsity letters in football and track; Post season honors as Punter included 1st Team All-MAC, 1st Team All-ECAC and 2nd Team Division III All-American
  • Juniata College Founders’ Scholarship Recipient – awarded to student athlete who excelled in athletics, academics, and demonstrated strong leadership skills and qualities

  • Soccer – All-Time Leader in Assists; Most Assists in a Season; 3rd on All-Time Goals List; 2006-2008 LL League All Star; 2008 All-League Team; 2008 Section 2 Champions; 2008 Section 2 Player of the Year
  • Tennis – 110 Career Singles and Doubles Victories; 2007 2nd Place LL League Doubles, PIAA State Doubles Qualifier; 2009 Altoona Invitational Flight 1 Singles Champion, LL League Flight 1 Singles Champion, All-League Team
  • 2009 Conestoga Valley Outstanding Male Athlete Award
  • Attended Virginia Military Institute (VMI) on Athletic and Academic Scholarships for Soccer and Chemistry
  • Virginia Military Institute Men’s Soccer-Captain; 4-Year Starter; 7th in Career Points; 4th in Career Assists
