Anthony Brown – Class of 2013

 

*          Earned 8 varsity letters in football (3), basketball (3) and track & field (2) – Recipient of the 2013 CV Outstanding Male Athlete Award and Doug Althouse Memorial Foundation scholarship

*          Football – 2011 & 2012 LL League Section II 1st team Running Back and rushing champion, 2011 Section II 2nd team Defensive Back, Franz-Rider-Yohe LL League Section II “Player of the Year”, 5-time LL Quarterback Club “Player of the Week”, 2011 District 3 “Mr. Touchdown” award recipient, 2011 Honorable Mention All-State Running Back, 2012 team captain

*          Statistics: 100 yd rushing games (12), 200 yd (5), 300 yd (1), 329 yds rushing vs Solanco (2nd all-time), School Records: most touchdowns in a game (6), rushing yards in 1st half (222), 2011 (1,444 yds), 2012 (1,338 yds) rank 2nd  and 3rd all-time for regular season games, 2,782 career rushing yds (3rd all-time), 7 interceptions, 3,575 all-purpose yards, 35 career touchdowns, 6.2 yds/carry average

*          Basketball – 2-year starter, 2012-13 team captain, 2012-13 Section II 2nd team PG, 2011-12/2012-13 team leader in assists and steals, most points scored in one game (34)

*          Track & Field – 2012 coaches award winner, 2013 Most Valuable Field Athlete award winner, 2012 LL League team champions, Twin Valley Invitational 100m (10.87 FAT) ranks second in school history, 2012 Leagues 4x100m(2nd),HJ5th(6’2”),100m(6th), 2013 Leagues 4x100m(4th), 2012 Dist 3 4x100m(4th)

*          Attended West Chester University on athletic scholarship, 4-yr letter winner, 2013 Region 1 champions, NCAA final four appearance, NCAA playoffs: 2013,2014,2017, PSAC East champion 2015/2017, 2016 PSAC all conference Return Specialist, Played in 42 of 46 games and 2 PSAC Championship Games

Darryl Daniel  – Class of 1994

 

*          Earned 7 varsity letters in football (3) and track & field (4)

*          Football – 1994 Big 33 MVP, 2-time All-State Wide Receiver, 2-time Wide Receiver of the Year,        2-time Kick Returner of the Year, 165 career receptions at CV, 32-7 career record in football, holds CV record for longest interception return of 104 yards, participated in the “War of the Roses” All-Star Game

*          Attended Syracuse University on football scholarship – earned 3 varsity letters, 3-year starter,        played in four bowl games (Gator, Liberty, Fiesta, Orange)

*          National Football League – played one year in NFL Europe, followed by playing with the Minnesota Vikings, Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Suzie Eckhart – Class of 2002

 

*          Earned 8 varsity letters in tennis (4) and soccer (4)

*          Tennis - Career Wins 142 ; Singles 71 and Doubles 71

*          2000 Pennsylvania AAA Doubles Champion, 1st Team All-State, District III AAA Doubles Champion, L-L League Doubles Champion, Altoona Invitational Doubles Champion 

*          1999 & 2001 Pennsylvania AAA Doubles 3rd Place, 2nd Team All-State, District III AAA Doubles Champion, L-L League Doubles Champion, Altoona Invitational Doubles Champion 

*          1998 Pennsylvania AAA Doubles Quarterfinalist, Honorable Mention All-State, District III AAA Doubles   3rd Place, State College Invitational Doubles Champion 

*          1998, 1999, 2000 & 2001 L-L League Section II Team Champions 

*          1999 & 2000 L-L League Team Champions 

*          2001 USTA Nationally Ranked Top 200 Singles; 2000 & 2001 Middle States Singles Top 10; 2000 USTA Middle States Junior Team Tennis National Team; 2000 & 2001 USTA Middle States Zonal National Teams; 2005 USTA Middle States Family of the Year

*          Soccer – 4-year starter, 54 team wins, 23 goals; 2001 & 2002 L-L League All-Star; 2001 & 2002 L-L League Section II Champions

Candice (Schucker) Goerger  – Class of 2001

 

*          Earned 7 varsity letters in track & field (4) and field hockey (3)

*          Field Hockey – 3-year starter

*          Track & Field:

1998 Freshman Year - Rookie of the Year, 6th in L-L League Triple Jump

1999 Sophomore Year - MVP, Lancaster Newspaper Star Performer, 1st in L-L League TJ, 2nd in L-L League HJ

2000 Junior Year – MVP, Co-Captain, 1st in L-L League TJ, 4th in L-L League HJ, 6th in L-L League LJ, 3rd in District III TJ

2001 Senior Year – MVP, Captain, 1st in L-L League TJ, 1st in L-L League HJ, 3rd in L-L League LJ & 4th in 100 Hurdles, L-L League Section II Champions, 6th in District III LJ, 5th in District III HJ,           5th in District III TJ

Set school records in Triple Jump, 100 Hurdles and 4x100 Relay

Holds CV record for most points scored in a season and most points scored overall (656.5 career points)

*          2001 Conestoga Valley Outstanding Female Athlete Award
