Conestoga Valley School District recognizes outstanding alumni, young and old, through the Distinguished Alumni and Athletic Hall of Fame programs.

Started in 2007, CVSD's Distinguished Alumni program recognizes alumni who have excelled in their professions and are outstanding role models for current students. Distinguished Alumni are chosen by a committee of administrators, teachers, CVEF representatives and alumni.

The purpose of the Conestoga Valley Athletic Hall of Fame (CVAHF) is to honor, recognize and celebrate those individuals who, through their participation, guidance and support, have made outstanding contributions to Conestoga Valley athletics.

Operation Recognition
Operation Recognition Application
Veterans whose military service interfered with high school now have a way to receive their diploma from Conestoga Valley High School.
“Operation Recognition” is a state law that authorizes school districts to grant a high school diploma to any honorably discharged veteran who served in the United States military during World War II, the Korean Conflict or the Vietnam War.
Once approved, qualifying veterans will be awarded their diplomas in a special event.
Veterans who meet the following criteria are encouraged to contact the CVSD district office to apply for a diploma:
- Was honorably discharged from the U.S. Armed Forces.
- Served in the U.S. military between Sept. 16, 1940 and Dec. 31, 1946 (World War II); June 27, 1950 and Jan. 30, 1955 (Korean Conflict); or between Feb. 28, 1961 and May 7, 1975 (Vietnam War).
- Attended high school between 1937-46, 1947-55 or 1958-75.
- Would have been a member of a graduating class during 1941-50, 1951-57 or 1961-75 but did not graduate due to military service.
- Is a current resident of Conestoga Valley School District or attended high school at Conestoga Valley or one of its predecessor high schools.
Upon proper application, the board may award a diploma posthumously to a veteran who meets these requirements.
