Below are various workshops, programs, events, & meetings available for families with children enrolled in Special Education.

State Task Force

Monthly Meetings, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., Zoom

This link provides the schedule for meetings for the State Task Force. All meetings are virtual and a recording of each meeting will be posted on the PaTTAN website.  The State Task Force, along with local task forces, serves to identify ways to improve programs and services for students with disabilities in Pennsylvania.

Local Task Force 13: Lancaster Lebanon

Bi-Monthly Meetings, Times Vary, Zoom & In-Person

These free meetings are a collaboration among parents of children with special needs and the school and agencies who serve them. They are held bi-monthly at various locations and at various times. More information can be found here.

PEAL Center: Empowering Change Group

Every second Tuesday of the month (beginning May 12, 2026); 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

The Empowering Change Group is committed to reaching families who are marginalized and are having issues accessing supports and services for their children, teens, and young adults with disabilities. Get more information here.

PEAL Center: Disability Pride Erie

July 7, 2026; 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

PaTTAN 2026 Conference: Bridging Knowledge to Know-How

August 4-7, 2026; Lancaster, PA

This conference will connect Pennsylvania's educators, community partners, families, and youth to explore the latest insights, strategies, and tools that bridge the gap between knowledge and practical application.
