THANK YOU for your interest in, and support of, the Conestoga Valley School District! Our mission is to educate all students to strive for personal excellence while becoming caring and contributing citizens in a global community.

Conestoga Valley is a great place to live and learn! We are proud to be a state leader in student academic growth, teaching excellence, character education, educational technology, online and blended learning, management practices, and community outreach. At CV, we live by our motto of Character, Community, Commitment.

CV is committed to teaching our students 21st century skills they will need throughout their lives (communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity). We were one of the first districts in the area to implement a comprehensive 1:1 computing program, providing every student a device, now expanded to grades 5 through 12. CV also pioneered cyber and blended learning by establishing the CV Virtual Academy, which serves students in grades K-12 and offers cutting-edge, student-directed learning assisted by local teachers, and complemented by school-based electives and extracurricular programs.

CV's Character Education program (which you can learn more about here) emphasizes values that are important to our community. Each month, we encourage teachers, parents, and community members to focus on a different trait and use everyday examples to reinforce the trait to our students.

CV is proud of its value placed on Character, Community, Commitment. Thank you to the students, parents, staff members, and broader community for helping to promote these beliefs into our schools.

Sincerely,

Daniel Hartman, Ed.D.
