Smoketown All Pro Dad
Smoketown All Pro Dad and iMom!
Smoketown All Pro Dad (and Mom!) is an organization dedicated to providing an atmosphere for strengthening family relationships, as well as developing relationships with other families in our school community. Please join us at one of our monthly breakfast events!
Smoketown All Pro Dad is led by Mr. Jeremy Kerchner, a Second Grade teacher here at Smoketown Elementary. Mr. Kerchner visited All Pro Dad chapters across Lancaster County before officially starting Smoketown All Pro Dad in April, 2014.
Smoketown iMom will be coordinated by Mr. Kerchner and the All Pro Dad volunteer team. Mrs. Hopta, one of Smoketown Elementary's ESL teachers, and Mrs. High, 2nd Grade teacher at Smoketown Elementary, will be presenting at iMom breakfasts. It is our hope that Smoketown iMom gives more families an opportunity to participate at All Pro breakfast events.
The plan this year is to continue holding breakfasts on the 1st Wednesday of each month (with the exception of January 1), alternating months for dads and moms, beginning with our first All Pro Dad breakfast on Wednesday, October 2nd and our inaugural iMom breakfast on Wednesday, November 6th. All breakfasts begin at 7:30 am and run one hour. Adults are dismissed at 8:30 and students remain in the cafeteria until school begins. Students in ALL grades are invited each month; however, there will be a maximum 225 participants at each breakfast. Anyone who registers beyond the 225 maximum capacity will be placed on a "wait list" to have the first chance to attend a future breakfast. Registering/RSVPing for each breakfast is imperative, and attendees should register by clicking on the link below. Parents also can email Mr. Kerchner with their RSVP or questions at email@example.com.
