• Must have excellent organizational and communication skills
• Must be able to manage a diverse group of people and be willing to work with high school age students
• Previous set building experience is required

Responsibilities:

• Will work in collaboration with the production's Director to create and craft full stage sets
• Design ideas and prepare sketches, illustrations, and detailed drawings of sets
• Order materials for production of set.
• Oversee building of set, working alongside construction workers and assistants.
• Select the furniture, wall coverings, floor coverings, and large props to be used in set.
• Provide estimations to the Director and adhere to construction budget.
• Ensure stage is properly broken down and disposed of after use.
• Assist with the following:
  • Auditioning the singers and making casting recommendations to the director
  • Scheduling music rehearsals in collaboration with the director and producer
