The support specialist teacher is an innovative position that will be the first of its kind at CV.  The positions provide support in special education classes as needed and as assigned from district office in partnership with principals. This is not considered a floating sub position- it has much more opportunity. For instance, this teacher may be in the classroom at the same time as the assigned teacher depending on the reason for support.  This position does not carry a caseload.

Any of the listed Special Education certifications are required. 

• Special Education 7-12 
• Special Education N-12 
• Special Education PK-8
