Michelle Trasborg Named Fritz Elementary Principal

The Conestoga Valley School Board appointed Michelle Trasborg at their August 12 meeting to become the new Fritz Elementary principal, beginning August 13. Trasborg is taking over the role from Nicole Reinking.

Trasborg is currently the K-12 English/Language Arts and ESL Supervisor for Conestoga Valley School District, where she has been in that role since 2010. Trasborg is also an adjunct professor at Millersville University in the department of Early, Middle, and Exceptional Education.  Prior to working at CV, she also served in a coaching capacity as a writing specialist and professional developer for four years at Dallastown Area School District in York County.

“Michelle has moved the district forward during her time as the English Language Arts supervisor for the past 9 years, and brings a wealth of knowledge to this role,” said Dr. Dave Zuilkoski. “We look forward to seeing her passion and dedication to helping students succeed at Fritz.”

Trasborg, who holds a principal’s certificate and instructional supervisory certificate, earned a bachelor's degree in education and English from York College and a master's degree in educational leadership from Millersville University.

“This is an amazing building with rich traditions,” said Trasborg. “I look forward to joining and learning from the Fritz community.”
