CV High School Community – 

This morning, Monday, Sept. 12, the District was alerted via its Safe2Say tip line that a high school student had allegedly entered the high school while armed. High school administration acted quickly, isolated the student, and reached out to East Lampeter Township for assistance. In addition, the high school went into Safe Classroom protocol while the investigation was being conducted. After speaking with the student and conducting a search, it was determined to be an unfounded report.

Student and staff safety is our top priority and we take each potential threat to that safety very seriously. There is no threat to our high school students, staff, or teachers at this time, but East Lampeter Township Police will maintain regular communication with the District. Further updates will be provided only if necessary.
