CVHS Student Named Recipient of Attollo Scholarship

On Friday, March 24, Ty-Lin Rosser, a freshman at Conestoga Valley High School, received a $1,000 scholarship from Attollo Prep for his performance during the CV Kickstarter Program.

At the beginning of the 2022-23 academic school year, Conestoga Valley High School and Apollo Prep collaborated to launch CV Kickstarter. The program assists a group of ninth graders adjust to being high school students. The program consisted of various sessions in which students learned work habits, effective growth mindset and communication skills, and recognized hopes and fears for their next four years as high school students.

Ty-Lin was announced this past Friday as the scholarship recipient for his exceptional performance, effort, and hard work throughout the program. Ty-Lin was presented with the $1,000 scholarship by several Attollo Prep staff members with CVHS Principal Dr. Michael Smith, and several members of Ty-Lin’s family also on hand.

This scholarship represents opportunities for Ty-Lin to continue to pursue his goals. Upon winning this scholarship, he was also inducted as an honorary scholar in the Apollo Program, a prestigious designation reserved for individuals who have demonstrated commitment to personal growth and development. As an Apollo Scholar, Ty-Lin will have access to all of their programs, including summer college tours, which will provide him invaluable exposure.
